It’s your chance to join the NSW Dickens Society!

Are you a fan of the works of Charles Dickens? Fascinated by the pantheon of his character creations? Interested in his life and times? Looking to socialize with like-minded readers?

The NSW Dickens Society celebrates the works of Charles Dickens, his life, and era. With engaging guest speakers (local, national and international) five times a year, a fun Charles Dickens birthday, and a Christmas function (Dickens loved celebrations), there are lots of reasons why you should join the NSW Dickens Society. We are a welcoming group of academics and enthusiastic amateurs.

  • Discounted entry for Saturday meeting attendance and Christmas Lunch
  • Attendance at Charles Dickens’ birthday celebrations
  • Receive Boz in Oz (our annual journal) once per year (hard copy)
  • Receive Household Words (newsletter) six times per year (via email or extra payment for hard copies posted)

Note:

Emailed publications are free with membership. For printed copies add aud $10.00. Meeting attendance is $5.00 cash at door per meeting attended.

Membership is for one calendar year, 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Memberships received after 1 October 2025 will continue until 31 December 2026.
